Things to Do Around Da Nang

Marble Mountains, the Son Tra peninsula and Lady Buddha, the Han River walk and Dragon Bridge, Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge, plus easy day trips to Hoi An, Hue, the Cham Islands and Bach Ma National Park.

In and around the city

  • Marble Mountains โ€” visit the large cave at Gate B; take the lift ticket for the temples.
  • Lady Buddha and the Son Tra peninsula โ€” monkeys, temples, and beach spots such as Ca Chuon Space or Tien Sa Beach.
  • Han River walk โ€” from The View Yacht Restaurant to the Dragon Bridge and night market (~10 min), or Bach Dang to Ben Du Thuyen (~17 min). The Dragon Bridge breathes fire and water for 5โ€“10 minutes at 9 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
  • Han Market and Bac My An Market โ€” Ao Dai, souvenirs, snacks, luggage and clothing.
  • Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge โ€” full-day trip; the lunch buffet ticket option is widely recommended.
  • Nui Than Tai Hot Springs Park and Mikazuki Water Park 365.
  • Camping and glamping sites on the west side of the city, roughly 30โ€“40 minutes from An Thuong by motorbike.

Day trips

  • Hoi An Ancient Town, the rice fields and the coconut boat ride; Memories Land shows in the evening.
  • Hue โ€” go by the morning tourist train and return by taxi or local train. Imperial Citadel, tombs, and Hue cuisine.
  • My Son Sanctuary, the Teh Dar show in Hoi An and The Heritage Show in Da Nang.
  • Cham Islands โ€” boat day trip from Hoi An with snorkelling; check the weather first.
  • Bach Ma National Park and Lang Co Beach.
